IBOGOLD Player (Android package com.slax.media) · Last updated: 12 October 2026
IBOGOLD Player is a media player. It does not provide, sell or promote any channels, films, series or other content. You add your own playlist from your own provider. This policy explains what the app and its activation service process and why.
1. Data processed on your device
- Your playlists are stored on your device, encrypted with a key kept in the Android Keystore. The app connects directly to your provider to load and play your playlist; video never passes through our service.
- Your settings, favourites and watch history stay on your device only.
2. Playlist backup linked to your device
- When you add, change or delete a playlist, the app also saves that change with the activation service, linked to your device (its MAC address). This lets your playlists come back automatically after you reinstall the app or clear its data on the same device.
- The saved playlist contains its name, type and server host name, and its login (user name and password, or the M3U / EPG link). The login is encrypted on our server (AES-256-GCM) and is never written to logs. The playlists are sent back to your device only, encrypted for that device.
- Our support staff can view a saved login only when needed to help you (for example to move your playlists to a new TV at your request); every such view is recorded in an audit log.
- If your provider or reseller asks us to, we can also add a playlist to your device. Such playlists are shown in the app as protected: you can use them but not edit or delete them in the app.
- Deleting a playlist in the app deletes it from our server too.
3. Other data sent to the activation service
- Device identity: an identifier derived from the Android ID (shown as the MAC address), a device key created by the service, a public key generated on the device, the app version, the device model and Android version. They are used to recognise your device, to keep the one-time free trial and your licence attached to it, and to protect the service against abuse.
- Provider check: to decide your access, the app sends the host name of your provider (for example tv.example.com). The service answers whether the provider is a supported provider (free access) or another provider (trial or licence).
- Network data: your IP address is used for security and rate limiting and is kept in technical logs.
- Google Play purchases: when you buy or restore a licence, the purchase token and order details are verified with Google Play and stored to keep your licence, handle refunds and allow restoring it.
- Play Integrity (when enabled): a device integrity verdict from Google, used only to prevent abuse of the free trial.
4. QR pairing
If you use “Pair with QR”, the playlist you type on the pairing page is encrypted immediately for your TV only. The pairing service cannot read it, keeps only the encrypted copy until your TV receives it (at most 10 minutes) and then deletes it. The pairing code itself expires and can be used once. Once your TV has received the playlist, it is saved like any other playlist (section 2).
5. What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No sale or sharing of your data with third parties, except Google for purchase and integrity checks.
6. Retention
- Provider check logs: up to 90 days.
- Pairing sessions: deleted within 2 days (their encrypted playlist as soon as it is delivered or expired).
- Saved playlists: until you delete them in the app or ask us to delete the data of your device.
- Device, trial and licence records: as long as needed to keep your trial and licence valid and to prevent abuse.
7. Your choices and rights
You can delete your playlists in the app at any time; this also deletes them from our server. You can ask us to delete all data linked to your device, including saved playlists (this also removes any licence on that device), by contacting us with the MAC address and device key shown in Settings → Device & Account.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
9. Contact
Support e-mail: to be added.
